Actually, I very much enjoyed this recent televised conversation with Rick Cochran of Cape Cod Writers Center’s “Books and the World” program about fiction as an antidote to loneliness, setting as transportation, novels vs stories, travel and writing, what’s on the drawing board for me, and much more.   I think the “Books and World” talk went very well. I found your comments instructive, engaging, and articulate. You come across very well, relaxed and confident. In particular the “sense of place” you describe caught my attention, as did the idea of using intellect and intuition in balanced proportion. Well done. You are a natural in front of the camera. Move over Paul Newman, make room.
